Anime-inspired direct-to-DVD anthology film. Comprised of six short stories, from diverse creators, including Academy Award-nominated Josh Olsen (A History of Violence), Batman Begins writer David S. Goyer, and comics scribe Brian Azzarello. It's planned for a release window of two to four weeks prior to the release of The Dark Knight, and would bridge the gap between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
动画电影《蝙蝠侠：高登骑士》，不上映，只发行DVD。这部影片比较奇特，片中共有6个故事，但却来自三个不同的制作小组来完成，他们分别是Studio 4°C Production I.G Madhouse。都是日本知名的动画制作公司。该片DVD与蓝光DVD将于2008年6月上市。之后，华纳兄弟公司很DC Comic和以上的制作组还将继续合作，制作DC Comic漫画的动画系列。

本片是连接Batman Begins和The Dark Knight的桥梁，也特意的找了日本制作公司来担纲。本片分成6个故事，由不同公司制作，但不同于animatrix的是几个故事是衔接的，有一条主线连贯起来。同时Batman Begins里的稻草人等也有所交代。
第一个故事：Have I Got A Story For You
几个孩子讲述各自对蝙蝠侠的印象。
除剧情略有改动外，从概念到结构完全照搬制片Bruce Timm之前的TV版动画中《Legends of the Dark Knight》一集。就 连最后的蝙蝠侠造型也同该动画一致，作为致敬。
